This version of cold coffee starts with filter coffee decoction, chilled and blended with milk and ice to create a smooth, café-style drink at home. Once your decoction is cold, this takes less than a minute to make.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons filter coffee decoction, chilled (we recommend Meter Coffee's Classic Blend for a clean finish)
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1-2 teaspoons sugar or jaggery syrup (to taste)
- A handful of ice cubes
- Optional: a dash of vanilla
Method
- Brew your filter coffee decoction ahead of time and chill it completely.
- Add the chilled decoction, cold milk, sugar or jaggery syrup, and ice cubes to a blender.
- Blend on high for 30–45 seconds, until the ice is fully crushed and the drink looks thick and frothy.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
Tips
- Short blending = an icy drink. Longer blending = a creamier drink.
- Jaggery syrup adds a caramel-like sweetness that works well here.
- Add more decoction depending on how strong you like it
Meter Coffee's Classic Blend works beautifully here. Clean, smooth, and just the right amount of depth for a cold glass.
